VAULT rules
Round 1. Run by Lakshmanan (GeekyLax, @geekylax_ai).
The game
- Free to enter. No purchase needed. This is a contest of skill: you win by what you write, not by luck.
- VAULT is an AI that guards a password. If VAULT's reply contains its password, you crack it, and a ₹1,000 Amazon.in gift card code appears on your screen right away.
- The password must appear in VAULT's reply. Typing it yourself doesn't count. Spaced-out, reversed, encoded and first-letter forms in VAULT's reply all count.
- Only the first crack wins the ₹1,000, decided by our server's timestamp. Anyone after that sees a "too late" message.
- The ₹500 best-try prize: an AI judge scores every try for creativity, craft and how close VAULT came to slipping. A live top 10 shows the best ones. GeekyLax picks one winner from that top 10 when the round ends. The judge only ranks; a person decides.
- The best-try board stays open for the whole round, even after VAULT is cracked.
How to enter
- Instagram: comment on the VAULT Reel. Your private play link arrives by DM (check Requests).
- YouTube or anywhere else: sign up with your email at vault.geekylax.store/join and play right away. Lost your link? Enter the same email and we'll email it to you.
- One person, one entry per round: either Instagram or email, not both. Your link is personal; anyone with it plays as you.
- 5 tries per person per day. Tries reset at 5:30 AM IST.
- Using several accounts, several email addresses, scripts or bots to get more tries isn't allowed. We can disqualify entries that do.
Prizes
- Watch out for scams. A win only ever shows as the green "You broke VAULT" banner on this site, or as a DM from @geekylax_ai. We never ask for money, OTPs, bank details or your Amazon login. Screenshots of VAULT "saying you won" mean nothing.
- Prize winners must be 18 or older, or have a parent's or guardian's permission.
- Prizes are Amazon.in gift cards. They can be redeemed only on Amazon.in.
- The ₹1,000 code shows the moment you crack VAULT. Redeem it straight away.
- The ₹500 winner gets their code by Instagram DM within 48 hours of the round ending.
What we show and keep
- Your tries may be shown publicly: on the live board, in Stories and in follow-up videos, with your Instagram handle. The password is always masked.
- Abusive, hateful or explicit messages are refused, are never shown, and can disqualify you.
- We keep your Instagram handle, your tries and VAULT's replies for this round. We store your IP address only as a salted hash, to stop scripts. We delete the round's data 30 days after it ends.
- We'll ask the ₹1,000 winner before featuring them by name in a video.
This game isn't sponsored, endorsed or run by Instagram or Meta, and isn't associated with them. By entering, you release Instagram from any responsibility for it.
